The Year of the DOG !

The new year is always a good time to reaffirm that which helps us to grow and to release things, actions or people that no longer serve us or hold us back from pursuing dreams and ambitions. 2017 turned out to be a year of continued excitement and growth. My sister and I both had qualified for and competed in the 2017 Senior Games held in June in Birmingham, AL in field archery. As a result, both of us took home medals! My sister took a Bronze in the compound release division and I received a Gold medal and broke two national records - highest one-day score and highest two-day score - in the barebow recurve division. I am definitely stoked to keep this going!

2018 is starting off with a bang keeping busy with Real Estate transactions and keeping clients healthy providing massage therapy. As for fun stuff, I have already been able to participate in some 3D archery competitions, plenty of bagpipe events, landscaping projects and animal adventures. And my newest hobby is Pickleball, which I had never heard of until attending the National Senior Games. That will definitely keep you in shape!

As the year progresses, I will continue to be thankful for the experiences I have had and the people and animals that have blessed me with being a part of my life. Wishing you a wonderful, adventure-filled 2018!!
